In Pasir Panjang, Singapore, Coliwoo opens its fifteenth co-living project
SINGAPORE – The Coliwoo Hotel Pasir Panjang, a four-story building located at 404 Pasir Panjang Road, is Coliwoo’s fifteenth co-living facility. In September of last year, the brand Tembusu Grand Condo —a co-living subsidiary of the real estate management services business LHN business—announced that it had paid $30 million for the Pasir Panjang property.
The 16,626 square foot home on Pasir Panjang Road is a freehold estate. The Tembusu Grand Showflat, which was formerly home to the Pasir Panjang Inn hotel, was purchased by the group empty.
The National University of Singapore is less than 500 meters away from the new site, and Curtin University is about 1 km away. It is conveniently located near Science Park, Mapletree Business City, and the CBD via the Ayer Rajah Expressway, West Coast Highway, and Keppel Bridge. Additionally, the area provides easy access to Southern Ridges, Hort Park, and West Coast Park.
The Pasir Panjang property’s rooms are decorated with nautical themes, utilizing vivid marine blue and light grey tones to symbolize the region’s maritime ties. Each room is a self-contained studio apartment with housekeeping, an onsite concierge, and a self-service smartphone app as support services.
Coliwoo’s chief commercial officer, Chong Ching Yeng, states that the company is thrilled to add more co-living options to the city’s periphery with the launch of Coliwoo Hotel Gay World. “Coliwoo Hotel Pasir Panjang boasts convenience and accessibility without compromising on quality, especially due to its prime location in the heart of Pasir Panjang, given the demand from working professionals and students for long-term yet flexible stays.”
Next year, Coliwoo intends to open more co-living buildings along a number of routes, such as River Valley Road, Rangoon Road, Balestier Road, Lavender Street, and Arab Street.
